NotaryToday, in collaboration with Connecticut Notary On Demand, extends our sincere appreciation to Connecticut legislators for the passage of Connecticut Senate Bill 294 — a critical step forward for the notary profession.

This legislation includes a long-awaited fee adjustment, increasing the notarial act from $5 to $10 — a meaningful recognition of the essential role notaries play in safeguarding transactions, preventing fraud, and serving our communities.

👏 We thank our legislators for listening, engaging, and taking action to support notaries across the state.

📌 The bill now heads to the Governor’s desk for signature — and we remain hopeful for its final enactment.
