The Scars We Hide

Sometimes we look at our lives and think we’ve been marked up too much. Sure, there are scars people can notice on the outside. But it's the weight of the ones hidden deep within—the ones etched by broken trust, a fractured heart, or a love that rejected us when it should have chosen us first, that can cripple us.

We hide away, thinking there’s just too much scar tissue for even God to get through.

But I want to share a perspective shift with you today: Your scars are not a witness against you. They are the beautiful, undeniable testimony that you survived.

In the very first episode of my brand-new series on the ReNew Your Mind Podcast, The Pursuit of God, we are diving deep into the stories our scars tell. We look at our own wounds, but more importantly, we look at the scars of Jesus.

Did you know He chose to keep His scars?

Isaiah 49 tells us He has inscribed our names right on the palms of His hands. Those marks are His eternal promise that He is still watching for you, still waiting for you, and still pursuing you with an unrelenting love.

If you are feeling broken, bruised, or left on the side of the road by this world, please know you are never too far gone.

Come sit with me as we unpack how the Great Healer gently peels away the pain to reveal His victory story in your life.
