TIME FOR A HEARING TEST
⏳Sometimes hearing loss can happen so gradually that you may not pick up on the signs and symptoms. Some common “first signs” of hearing loss are being told that you’re talking at a loud volume🗣️(when you think you’re talking softly!), missing out on certain environmental sounds🌧️(like birds chirping or the rain), or having more trouble understanding when in a noisy environment 🔊.
🎧If you’re noticing any of these little signs, make sure to have your hearing checked! It is never too soon or too early for a hearing test.
Most adults aren’t routinely tested for hearing loss—but if you’re over 60 or regularly exposed to loud noise, it’s smart to get a baseline hearing test.
Even mild hearing changes are worth checking out, regardless of age. If you’ve already been diagnosed with hearing loss, regular follow-ups help ensure your needs are met and your devices are working their best. https://ow.ly/TZQa50WE9Ox

TV STREAMING:
Do you ever feel like certain TV shows are easier to understand than others? Well, you’re not alone!
📺
Many patients share that they can hear things like the news just fine, but whenever they watch movies, they get frustrated because it is hard to hear certain actors. Or, if a scene is very quiet, they have a hard time hearing it. Additional factors like loud background music can also make it hard to hear what the actors are saying! 🎶
Thankfully, here at The Hearing Doctor, we have technologies and solutions to help transmit the sound from the TV right to your hearing aids🦻. This allows you to adjust the volume anytime you need to, which allows the loudness level to be comfortable for YOU and those around you!
🔊🔊🔊
If you have difficulty hearing TV or feel your volume is louder than it used to be, please don’t hesitate to schedule a complementary hearing evaluation.

Hearing loss is categorized into three main types:
-Sensorineural: Damage to the inner ear or auditory nerve; leading to permanent hearing loss.
-Conductive: Issues in the outer or middle ear; often treatable.
-Mixed: A combination of sensorineural and conductive problems.
Recognizing the type of hearing loss is essential for determining the appropriate treatment. If you or someone you know is experiencing hearing difficulties, seeking professional advice is a vital first step.
