Today we celebrate the 133rd birthday of the beloved fraternity that has brought us all together!

On April 17th, 1893, ten women at Lombard College founded the first chapter of to foster growth and create a community for sisters to realize their full potential. Since then, over 170,000 members have been initiated, and Alpha Xi Delta is now recognized as one of the oldest women’s fraternal organizations in the United States.

Josey is graduating with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. After graduating from Alma, she will be attending Grand Valley State University to earn a Masters degree in Social Work!

Josey joined AXiD her sophomore year in the winter of 2024. Her favorite memory is watching Dancing with th Stars at Xi House with her sisters! The advice she leaves her sisters is “spend as much time as possible with your sisters. Cherish your time with your friends and those will be the memories you remember most!”

Our next senior is spotlight goes out to Aubreigh Caskey!

Aubreigh is graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business. After graduation, she will be searching for a job before eventually pursuing a masters degree in Economics.

Aubreigh joined AXiD during her freshman year in 2023. She says it is hard to pick just one, but her favorite AXiD memory is gaining her family line and getting her own little. The advice she leaves her sisters is “I’d say the most important thing is to branch out and get to know your sisters. You never know what amazing friendships can come from it. I’ve found some of my closest friends that way! Also, take chances and say yes to opportunities because you never know what might come from it!”

Mallory is a triple major graduating with a degree in Secondary Education, History, and Social Studies. After graduation, she plans to complete her student teaching placement at a highschool this fall.

Mallory joined AXiD as a freshman in 2022. Her favorite memory is going to convention during the summer of 2025 in Austin, Texas with four other Zeta Upsilon sisters! The advice she gives her sisters is “say yes to leadership roles!! You will learn so much through those experiences and you have such a strong support group of sisters around you to help you grow!”
