NEW EPISODE THIS THURSDAY π
Burnout doesn't always look like collapsing from exhaustion.
Sometimes it looks like:
β’ Feeling numb
β’ Feeling irritable
β’ Scrolling for hours
β’ Wanting everyone to leave you alone
β’ Having no energy for things you normally enjoy
In this episode, Lauren and Eleni unpack the hidden burnout so many women are experiencing and discuss practical ways to recognize it, understand it, and begin recovering from it.

How far back into your past would you have to go to understand where your patterns started?
Most people aren't struggling because they're broken.
They're struggling because they're repeating something they haven't fully understood yet.
The question isn't:
"What's wrong with me?"
It's:
"Why do I keep doing this?"
That's what we talk about on Shrinks on Tap. π
06/18/2026
We've talked about relationships.
We've talked about narcissism.
We've talked about friendship, boundaries, burnout, anxiety, confidence, community, and so much more.
But the reality is that life keeps changing.....and so do the conversations women need to have.
So we're asking you:
π What conversation do women need to be having right now?
What's the topic you wish more people talked about?
What's the question you're wrestling with?
What's keeping you up at night?
Drop your thoughts in the comments below β¬οΈ

ποΈ Real conversations. Real connection.
Ignoring someone, giving them the silent treatment, or trying to make them feel bad isn't a boundary.
Healthy boundaries aren't about controlling other people.
They're about managing yourself.

One question can completely change how you look at your relationships:
"Did they ask for your help?"
Sometimes we spend enormous amounts of energy trying to fix problems that were never ours to solve.
Watch the full conversation on Shrinks on Tap.
Do you feel responsible for other people's emotions?
Many people think this is love, support, or caring. But sometimes it's actually a sign of codependency.
Watch the full episode of Shrinks on Tap for a deeper conversation about boundaries, people-pleasing, and emotional responsibility.

π¨ NEW EPISODE OF SHRINKS ON TAP π¨

It's hard to believe it's already been a month since the Falls Church Women's Crawl.
And honestly? We're still thinking about it.
We're still thinking about the women who showed up alone and left with new friends.
We're still thinking about the conversations, the laughter, the vulnerability, and the sense of connection that filled the room.
We're still thinking about standing alongside hundreds of women and hearing a collective primal scream that reminded us just how much we all need spaces where we can show up exactly as we are.
That's why we do this.
The Women's Crawl and Shrinks on Tap were both created from the same belief:
Connection matters.
Community matters.
And sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is remind each other that we're not alone.
To everyone who joined us in Falls Church: thank you for making it such a special night. π
And if you're new here, yes... we host events, have real conversations, and are building a community where women can connect both online and in person.
We can't wait to do it again. STAY TUNEDβ¨

We've welcomed a lot of new people into this community recently, so we thought it might be a good time to reintroduce ourselves. π
Hi, we're Dr. Lauren Fisher and Dr. Eleni Boosalis.
We're best friends, business partners, licensed clinical psychologists, and the hosts of Shrinks on Tap.
What started as conversations between two friends became something much bigger. A community where people can come together for honest conversations about relationships, mental health, personal growth, friendship, boundaries, healing, and all the beautifully messy parts of being human.
Through our podcast, live events, and growing community, our goal is simple:
π Help people feel seen.
π Help people feel understood.
π Help people know that they're not alone.
You'll find us talking about everything from dating and narcissism to anxiety, self-worth, friendship, burnout, parenting, confidence, and the emotional patterns that shape our lives.
And sometimes you'll find us gathering hundreds of people together in real life to laugh, connect, learn, and support one another.
Whether you've been here from the beginning or just found us yesterday, we're so glad you're here.
