It’s been a whirlwind of activity over the past few days and weekend! Please be patient with any calls or messages. 😜🙏
We’ve had a lot of pugs finding their forever homes and potential home meetings! We’ll keep you in the loop on who’s still available on Monday and follow up with our new applicants from the past week. AND guess what? Our puppies are now gone! 🥹😎❤️
Five of them went to the vet yesterday for their final shots and headed home yesterday and today. It’s a bittersweet day, and I might have shed a tear or two. They’ve been our unexpected rescue for three months, guiding and loving them from day one until now. But we’re over the moon happy to see them in their families and know that nine tiny lives were saved. They’ll be loved, spoiled, and spayed/neutered loved by amazing families. And technically 11 pugs, including mom and dad! Mom gave birth just 12 hours after arriving in the rescue! They’re both now spayed and neutered, living wonderful, spoiled lives with their new families too.
Pug meetup today, and I got to hold our dear friend 20-year-old Rata (a chi mix) who has never ever let me pet her or kiss—let alone hold her?! I think she softened in her very senior years. 😜 Our meetup is held on the small dog side of the park, so all small dogs are welcome, even larger gentle dogs who prefer the calmer small area. 😉
