I promised some big news for you this week. Almost a year ago Ted Gonzales President of Son Broadcasting here in ABQ approached me saying he wanted to add a local show to his syndicated talk lineup on KDAZ AM & FM. Over time we've worked out the details and KDAZ set about building a brand new studio which is still under construction. I'm pleased to be able to share the news that I'll be returning to local Albuquerque radio later this Fall with a 2-hour morning show from 7 to 9 am weekdays. I'll be reuniting with my old friend and colleague from the 770 KKOB Radio days Frank Haley who will be doing the news. The added kicker is that the first hour of the radio show will also be seen on KCHF-TV Channel 11. We'll be talking about lots of local stuff, New Mexico things and of course national issues on the show. We'll have guests and call-in's - everything. We've also just nailed down our first two sponsors. A launch date will be announced soon. They're still building the studio. That's KDAZ FM 96.9 and KDAZ AM 730. Gonna be fun!
