Summary of position: The position provides a range of clinical and administrative services to collect patient data that will be used by the Ophthalmologist. Candidates need not have prior eye care experience as we are happy to train the selected candidate, although basic computer skills are essential.
Personality is of essence as we strive to foster a warm and welcoming culture. The right candidate should carry a professional demeanor along with being friendly, helpful and kind.
Job responsibilities include front office administrative duties with potential for training in medical ophthalmic diagnostic imaging and other patient care duties.

This past Saturday, Dr. Duffy, Assistant Division Physician for the NY State Troopers and two of the Ophthalmology Residents from Albany Medical Center, and Matthew Habib, MD screened over 600 cadets for the NYS Police Academy.
