Chicago Property Transformation – Zurich White Finish
At Midwest Brick Stain, we were called to restore a Chicago property that had gone through years of patchwork repairs. Large portions of the brickwork were once covered in ivy, which we carefully removed through media blasting. Over time, sporadic tuck-pointing left the façade with an uneven appearance that didn’t match the rest of the home.
To start, we fully cleaned and stabilized all brick and mortar. Once the surface was prepped, we applied Eco-Prim, a breathable mineral primer that strengthens adhesion and prevents streaks. Chicago Property Transformation – Custom Mountain Sage Match
This Chicago property underwent a major transformation with a second-story addition clad in Hardie Board finished in Mountain Sage. The homeowners wanted the existing brick to match the new siding as closely as possible. Although requests for this type of green shade are rare, Midwest Brick Stain developed a custom Sol-Silicate Masonry Stain that blended perfectly with the Hardie finish.

The finished look was seamless — the green tone came out balanced, not overly dark or saturated, and was designed to age gracefully even as color trends change. The addition of new black Marvin windows and trim provided bold accents, while the masonry stain unified the old brick with the new siding and stone façade.
