Blood Dog Training / Tracking

I get lots of call asking me what the best breed is for tracking.
Breeds from the Working, Hunting, and Herding groups work best. Any dog with an elongated nose has the capacity and propensity to perform the job.
Secondly, choose a dog that you like. You have to live with it, so you should like the dog.
