Value Farm

When we first started goat farming, we thought a simple shelter on the ground was “good enough.” It looked fine… until the rains came.
One morning after a heavy downpour, I walked into the pen and immediately smelled it — that strong ammonia odor. The ground was wet, muddy, and uncomfortable. Our goats were standing around, not resting well, some looking stressed. That day, I realized something important: goats don’t just need shelter… they need dry, clean, and elevated living conditions.
That’s when we switched to a raised goat house and everything changed.
Suddenly, the rain didn’t matter anymore. The waste dropped through the slatted floor, keeping the surface clean and dry. No more muddy hooves, no more strong ammonia smell, and the goats were happier, healthier, and more active. Even feeding became easier because they stayed clean and comfortable.
If you’re just starting out, let me tell you this like a friend:
👉 A raised goat house is not a luxury… it’s a smart foundation.
It protects your goats during rainy seasons, reduces disease risk, improves airflow, and saves you time on cleaning. And honestly, your goats will thank you for it!
We made the mistakes so you don’t have to.
That’s exactly why I created my goat farming ebook to guide beginner farmers step by step on proper housing, feeding, and management so you can start right and avoid costly lessons.
If you’re serious about raising healthy goats and building something successful, this guide will save you time, money, and stress.
🐐 Start smart. Build right. Raise happy goats.

They laughed when you started.
They questioned you when things got hard.
And now… you’re questioning yourself.
But listen carefully 👇
Goat farming is not for the weak.
It’s for the ones who wake up early, learn the hard way, lose animals, make mistakes… and still show up the next day.
Imagine:
Every failed breeding.
Every sick goat.
Every loss.
It’s not the end! it’s training and experience
The farmers who win are not the lucky ones.
They’re the ones who refused to quit.
Your breakthrough herd… your profitable farm… your success story…
It’s on the other side of consistency.
So don’t quit. Adjust. Learn. Grow.
We started with questions too. Now we have answers — and I put them all into one guide to help you avoid the same mistakes.
If you’re serious about getting it right this time, my ebook is for you.
Drop a 🐐 in the comments or DM me “GOATS” and I’ll send you the details.

If you’re feeding your goats Super Napier grass, timing matters more than most people think.
Here’s the truth: overgrown or old Napier grass does more harm than good.
When Napier grass is left to grow too tall and mature:
It becomes too fibrous and hard
The nutritional value drops, especially protein
It’s less digestible, making it harder for goats to get nutrients
Goats may eat less or waste more, affecting growth and milk production
In simple terms, you’re feeding bulk not nutrition.
Goats thrive on young, tender, leafy grass, that’s where the real nutrients are. Once the grass gets old and woody, it’s like giving them dry sticks instead of food.
The right way to farm:
Cut your Super Napier grass early, when it’s still soft and green. Regular harvesting not only improves feed quality but also encourages fresh, healthy regrowth.
Remember:
Good farming is not about how much you feed…
It’s about the quality of what you feed.
