Top opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, has left the country to meet with supporters and international leaders to strategize on removing Museveni, whom he claims rigged the election. Bobi Wine declared himself the rightful winner of the 2025 election.

According to reports, military personnel raided his home, assaulting family members and molesting his wife, who is now in hiding. Bobi Wine has thanked Ugandan citizens and security personnel who provided him with intelligence. He promises to return when the time is right.

Ugandans overwhelmingly voted for Bobi Wine, driven by a desire for change. Museveni's government is marred by nepotism, corruption, abductions, and violence against dissenters.
