Death watch counts down your life to make every second count

Thinking about your own death could be considered a bit morbid, or it could be considered pragmatic, as it may spur us to not waste any of our time with meaningless pursuits. And that's the thought behind a new kind of wrist watch, or death watch, if you prefer.

The Tikker watch displays not just the current time, but also displays just how many days we may have left to live, reminding us that there is more to life than just Tweeting, Facebooking, Instagraming, and responding to your emails.

Shs3b lost in taxes over KCCA fights

Mr Yusuf Nsibambi said conflict of interest and interference into other people’s offices going on at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) have caused financial institutions to distrust KDLB.
“The Land Board in Kampala is losing close to Shs3billion every year as a result of the fracas at KCCA. Financial institutions are now finding it very hard to process mortgage transactions as it is now very difficult to differentiate between the rightful and wrongful owners of land at the moment in Kampala. All our documents were confiscated by Police and the whole situation is simply a hoax,” Mr Nsibambi said.

Here in pictures from L-R: Chairman Kampala District Land Board Yusuf Nsibambi, Deputy Lord Mayor Sulaiman Kidandala and the Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago at the tribunal yesterday.
