It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing on of our dear brother, friend, and co-founder of The Visit Uganda Initiative, WAFULA FILEX.

Early this morning, February 2nd, 2026, at around 4am, we received the news that is hard to accept. Filex was more than just a member; he was a beacon of hope, a champion of giving back, and a driving force behind our mission to bring hope to the hopeless.

As we mourn this loss, we take comfort in the impact he made through our charity work and the lives he touche
