Had a good team bonding meeting with the players today to recoup and begin training for the 15s regional championship games

The Team has acquired a new kit sonsor TAKATAKA PLASTICS and is proud to host the National 7s circuit this weekend in Gulu. Turn up and support your home team the Elephants as they tussle it out among the best teams of the best in country. There will be lots of fun, drinks and yama choma plus of course rugby

I am happy to announce that we raised more than the 50 rugby balls we set out to get. Just a few pledges are still unfilled.

Gulu Elephants Rugby Football Club (GERFC) in conjunction with Gulu Rugby Schools Association (GRSA) has organized a brief press conference slated for 15th June 2019, from 2pm at Golden Gate Hotel Ltd opposite Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu District. The conference is to witness hand over of rugby balls to participating schools in Gulu district.

That is komakech Edmond Bagwegira aka lutwa the one who has been from the beginning as the water boy and now a player. He is one of the longest serving no.15 whose ability is not yet fully tapped due to reasons best known by him.

Odoch Ivan Morgan, 19 years of age is the exact replacement of the oketayot Byron we know. His hard tackle, big hits and high endurance is what the elephants missed from the latter. but his boots have been fitted by his blood brother Ivan. With the "ngwelos" like that of boxer and a height like that of a jumper has forced me to look for other position among the back liner and let him be "mad man of the team. odoch Ivan will reach the sky where the Byron's are .
