It's disappointing that the leadership of Madi Performing Artists accepted such a small amount less than UGX 5 million from the NRM presidential rally in Madi Sub Region especially for events in Adjumani and Moyo Districts.
This amount was expected to cover a wide range of contributors, including Ayije groups, artists, MCs, DJs, traditional performers (Ayije & Mure) as well as bloggers.
The core issue is that we often fail to recognize the true value of our work, which leaves us vulnerable to exploitation both by insiders and outsiders.
