GEO Business Show 2026 is over.
Two days. A lot of conversations. One that stood out was with Keith Owens, Commercial Director at Fugro.

LiDAR technology, the future of geospatial infrastructure, reconstruction of Ukraine, potential collaboration across Europe and the UK. The kind of conversation that starts broad and ends with something worth following up on.

Two weeks at the Berkeley Agro Accelerator are behind us.
Our CEO and CTO Andrii Nedvyha are heading back with more than notes. The second week pushed the programme from classroom to field — and from theory to pitch.

Monday opened at Future Frontier VC with a full day on the VC ecosystem: Greg La Blanc from on how venture capital actually works, Matt Rappaport from Future Frontier Capital on IP and legal foundations, and Steve Ciesinski from and on what investors are really looking for.
The evening closed with a startup panel and mixer hosted by Gauthier Vasseur and team — the kind of room where conversations matter.

Tuesday brought Chris Cowart from Nomura-SRI Innovation Center on future forecasting and moonshot thinking, and Linda Netsch from FLEX by Fenwick / & on negotiation. Two sessions that covered opposite ends of the same problem: how to think big and how to close the deal.

Wednesday was UC Davis — campus labs, AgriTech startups, research being translated into products. Seeing what comes before the data we process was a useful reminder of where the work starts.

Thursday: final pitches at in Sunnyvale, dinner in Palo Alto.

Friday: precision viticulture in Wine Country. A fitting close for an agri programme.

Two weeks. Berkeley, Silicon Valley, Central Valley, UC Davis, Wine Country. The density of people, ideas, and context in one programme is difficult to overstate.
