✨️Last week, we visited Moshono and Wema schools to establish Empowerment Clubs aimed at uniting students and educating them about menstrual health and life skills.
These clubs consist of around 80 students from grades 5, 6, and 7. It was a surreal experience to see the students' happiness as they interacted and shared their excitement about the formation of these clubs.
We hope these clubs will foster healthy discussions on menstrual health and other important topics among both girls and boys.

The workshops conducted at primary and secondary schools serve as an important platform for engaging with boys and girls in our community ☀️
These workshops not only enhance the confidence of girls but also inspire boys to become powerful allies in advancing gender equality. They foster positive interactions and collaborations between boys and girls, contributing to an inclusive and equitable society 📣
Expanding these workshops to more schools is an important step towards supporting and empowering more girls to emerge as confident and resilient leaders in our community! ❤️💪🏾

Introducing Wema, a dedicated entrepreneur from Kilimanjaro, making significant progress in the “mitumba” industry in Arusha ☀️❤️
Through her fully online store, she showcases a unique approach to selling her goods, connecting with customers through social media and networking.
While this method offers the advantage of low overhead costs, it also presents challenges for expanding her business. Wema dreams of one day opening a physical store to increase foot traffic and expand her reach 🛍
The SASA Foundation’s Micro Financing and Skills Training Programs play a crucial role in providing the necessary guidance and resources for Wema’s entrepreneurial journey.
Join us in celebrating and supporting female entrepreneurs! Through initiatives like microfinancing and skills training, we uplift and support local businesses, empowering women and fostering economic empowerment and community development. Together, we can make a difference! 📣🌱
