🌟 It’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get where we are today 🌟
I moved from England to Tanzania with Just $500 and a dream 💭
For a really long time me and Khalfani lived in a little room the size of a box with a bathroom attached 🏡
Our clothes all neatly stored In a suitcase and duffle bag on the floor 🧳
For 2 years we didn’t have a bed, we slept like hopeful angels under our mosquito net on a foam mattress on the floor 🛌
We borrowed food from the shops and paid them back when we could 🙏🏽
Even when we were expecting our little baby boy Arlo, we didn’t have a single coin in the world and collected Rain water to boil and drink 🌨
We took showers using a bucket of water and a jug for more than two years 😱
We kept our food in a corner of the bedroom since we had no kitchen or fridge and cooked on a tiny camping stove ☕️
For medial reasons I travelled to the U.K. to deliver both our beautiful baby boys and since we we didn’t have enough money for Khalfani’s visitor visa to the U.K. to be granted, I had to give birth without him and spend the first two months of our little babies lives solo.
The day that we were finally reunited as a family at Kilimanjaro Airport after 14 weeks apart was everything ❤️
We worked, we prayed and we continued to love eachother and to work hard and we can honestly say that every second was worth it ❤️
We put everything we had in to building our little family safari company and we still do and we couldn’t be happier that we never gave up!! 🥰
