This is Lloyd Martin. He’s 19 and he wants to become the youngest ever person with Down’s Syndrome to complete the London Marathon. Lloyd caught the running bug after completing his first junior parkrun in Cardiff on Christmas Day 2017. Despite the fact it rained the whole time, Lloyd, who was just 13, absolutely loved it (especially the obligatory cafe breakfast afterwards 😜) Since that day, Lloyd has completed parkruns across Wales - an impressive 35 in total - and has made loads of friends along the way. He’s now got his sights set on the London Marathon and is training hard after securing a place at the huge event. He’s also raising money for two amazing charities that helped him when he was growing up - Stepping Stones DS and Special Olympics GB. Well done Lloyd - you’ve got this! 💪❤️
