A true enthusiast of DJing, Kate's fearless approach to selection and irresistible grooves has earned her recognition as a bold and emphatic performer. She has graced prestigious events such as Dekmantel Selectors, Organik Festival, De School, Panorama Bar, Tresor, Draaimolen Festival, Pitch, and Miscellania, leaving a lasting impression wherever she performs.

While refining her skills behind closed doors, Kate recently emerged onto the production scene with her powerful yet elegant remix of MSJY's alias Xades on the esteemed Bristol label Banoffee Pies.

Fuses euphoric techno, prog, and trip-hop with bass-heavy breakbeat, DnB, and IDM, her sound ignites an air of euphoria whilst also allowing one to be grounded in fast elements of techno, prog, trip hop, tech-house and more in a Yollks set.

Yollks is a producer, DJ and vocalist based in Naarm who co-runs label and club night 'Fluxx', a collective that advocates for emerging and marginalised artists in the electronic dance music scene.

Her sound ignites an air of euphoria whilst also allowing one to be grounded in fast paced beats and rhythm on the dance floor.

Although you will often find elements of techno, prog, trip hop, tech-house and more in a Yollks set, her selections and productions are heavily rooted in bass heavier genres such as breakbeat, DnB and IDM. She utilises addictively processed vocal samples and driving basslines to seamlessly fuse the above together, ensuring every track is as heavy hitting as the last.

Yollks’ releases can be found on labels such as Inner Theft, Local Knowledge, Phenomena, Durum Records and Fluxx, and she has also created mixes for the likes of Steel City Dance Discs, Rinse FM, Threads Radio and more.
