Evening all,
Leon here. Just bringing a quick update and hopefully what would be received as good news, but a bit of context first. I’ve been engrossed in this Photography and Photojournalism life for a cool minute now. Thoroughly enjoying every bit of it, while creating what I feel is a pretty solid portfolio of content.

But recently I’ve been really trying to build on my abilities while expanding my expertise. Which as it so happens causes me to return to my roots, and the initial pull that attracted me to photography/cinematography.

The goal of building and developing an independent media house or rather entity with the flagship of that, Unorthodox Magazine. I initially started on my path to this with a team, but at the moment I’ve been pursuing that dream solo.

That said it became apparent to me that I needed the knowledge and ability to produce and carry on the publication on my own where and when necessary, so I recently started teaching myself InDesign, couple that with my photography I decided to do a bit of creative experimentation which led me to this newsletter.

Now I know UM has never really been on the social commentary tip, but this incident or experience is something I really wanted to share.

Introducing 2TriniGirls 01/03/2015

Introducing 2TriniGirls 2Trinigirls usually filled their time with checking out the latest restaurant, shopping, browsing art exhibitions and craft markets. The idea behind the blog came about quite naturally since we were doing the things that we would be featuring on the and posting tons of photos on our individual Instagram and Facebook accounts. The best part about our blog is that we would be showcasing our own, local designers, local cuisine, local talent.

Here's something from a young local brother. Working on his craft, reaching out to his fan base. Some may not agree with the presentation but you gotta respect the brother's passion for his craft and that he is keeping it real. On the ground level interacting with his fans.
