What if Türkiye quietly turned into one of the most aggressive tax-advantage hubs in the region? 🇹🇷 From 100% corporate tax exemptions on certain transit trade profits to long-term relief for multinational regional headquarters, the new roadmap is clearly targeting companies currently based in hubs like Dubai. Add sharp corporate tax cuts for exporters and full deductions for specific service exports, and the strategy becomes impossible to ignore.
But it’s not just for corporations. There are 20-year tax advantages for returnees, a low fixed inheritance tax, and even a new asset repatriation scheme with limited inspection exposure. If you’re managing cross-border business, regional operations, or considering relocation, this could significantly impact your next move.

Our Italian client initially applied for a tourist residence permit through a large international law firm — but received a rejection.
After reading one of our articles published in she contacted Expat Solutions for a second review.
When we examined her previous file, we identified two critical issues:
• The wrong application category
• Procedural mistakes in the submission
We advised a different residence permit type and informed her that a proper exit and re-entry to Turkey was required before reapplying. She followed our guidance.
After she returned Turkiye, we made the application and her application was concluded positively.
However, instead of granting the standard 1-year residence permit, the immigration office issued the permit for only 10 months.
Normally, authorities do not correct this type of issue and request a brand-new application.
We did not accept that.
Through our lawyers, we filed a formal petition and demonstrated that the shortened duration was not caused by the applicant, but likely due to an evaluation oversight.
After persistent follow-up, the mistake was officially acknowledged.
✅ A corrected 1-year residence permit was issued.
✅ A new residence card was delivered by post.
The difference is not just applying —
it’s knowing how to defend the file when something goes wrong.

Have you ever paid a third party because you couldn’t obtain a notarized rental contract or register at your actual address?
Or have you secured a “work permit” from a company where you never truly worked — just to use it as a formality to maintain your residence status?
If the answer is yes, this concerns you.
Istanbul police have detained 51 suspects in a sweeping crackdown on a fake residence permit network that secured 441 permits using forged documents — and if you are a foreign national in Turkey, this should concern you. Behind polished websites and “consultancy” offices, many unlicensed operators are selling notarized sponsorship addresses, formality work permits, and even unauthorized “legal” services, exposing passports, tax numbers, and residence data to unknown hands. When authorities detect overcrowded addresses or sham employment, applications are rejected, permits are canceled, and some foreigners face deportation bans that can last years. Shortcuts that seem practical today can unravel your entire life here tomorrow. Before trusting anyone with your identity or status, read what happened:
