Celsus Library” in ancient Ephesus (2nd century AD), commissioned by Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus and serving as both a library and mausoleum, features a monumental Roman façade built with marble from the Afyon-İscehisar (ancient Dokimeion) region—geologically linked to today’s Affumicato stone—highlighting the long-standing heritage of Anatolian stone in classical architecture.

Zonguldak Caves Visitor Center”, designed by Yalın Architecture under lead architect Ömer Selçuk Baz and located in Zonguldak, Türkiye, near Gökçöl Cave, is a 700 sqm visitor facility completed in 2021 that integrates with the cave landscape through a camouflage-like architectural approach and uses local limestone for walls and roofing, basalt for wet area floors and baseboards, and granite for parking surfaces.
