I wrote this post a year ago. Never has any words still held more true than these
This post may go back and forth and seem like im all over the place. Well i needed a brain dump.
I use to say I loved this country. I use to say this is the best country in the world. I use to say how can people complain about being here. I use to say we are free. Now that im older I now say, I use to say. Living in Iowa I was so closed off from everything. To this day I ask myself, how did I not end up like my family. A family that can vote for such hatred. Vote for rights being taken away. Vote for racism. Vote for facism. Vote for all the phobs out there. Vote for whiteness. I have always been a person of the we and not the Me. I was told I would be nothing. I was told I was going no where. Well moving away from all that noise made me realize something. Those telling me all that are the ones going no where and being no one. Stuck in their beliefs. It took me a long time to find my voice. It took along time for me to find my strength. It took me a long time to realize I am better. It took along time to realize this country is full of hate. Full of people that just don’t know better. People that just don’t know how to think for themselves and do research. Now we are in a country that is so afraid of losing its whiteness they are stopping at nothing to protect it. We live in a country where white supremacy reigns. If you don’t believe it look at this administration. Look at yourself. Ask yourself what are you doing to help those that are not treated equally. Before you come at me make sure to have sources and facts. I’ll be waiting.
I gave decided that my son will know where he comes from but will not know this whitewashed history. He will know his relatives voted against his best interests. He will know that his relatives, knowing that this administration is full of hate, still said you don’t matter. They looked at my wife and said you don’t matter. It may not have been voiced but their vote spoke volumes. This society is gonna see my son as a black man and we all know how said society treats black men. With that being said I hope nothing but the worst. I hope everything you voted for comes true. I hope you feel everything that’s gonna happen. I use to say I don’t wish anything bad to happen to anyone. Even if we don’t agree or see eye to eye on everything Now I say, I hope the worst. There’s a special place for you and I hope you get to enjoy it. 8647.

Trump and Republicans need to APOLOGIZE to Democrats AND the American people for jumping to conclusions. It was one of THEIR OWN.
