From my direct experience, volunteering isn't just about helping; it is a "vital force" in driving the SDGs and creating sustainable, positive change for our world.
Currently, Thailand’s Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) is pushing to integrate volunteer work with national policies, elevating it to be more efficient, transparent, and socially responsible.
This means that in the future, everyone will have greater access to international volunteering opportunities.
Because Volunteering = Our Collective Responsibility
This marks another significant step forward in truly developing Thailand's volunteer data system.
One of our key goals is to raise awareness about volunteer work, focusing on participation numbers and essential data (skills, interests, locations, and experience). This includes creating a centralized database that compiles contributions from various partners to drive volunteer efforts into tangible "social value."

จากประสบการณ์ตรงของผม งานอาสาสมัครไม่ใช่แค่การช่วยเหลือ แต่มันคือ “พลังสำคัญ” ในการขับเคลื่อน SDGs และสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงบวกให้โลกของเราได้อย่างยั่งยืน
ตอนนี้ทางกระทรวง พ.ม. ของไทยกำลังดำเนินการผลักดันให้งานอาสาสมัครเชื่อมโยงกับนโยบายระดับชาติ และยกระดับให้มีประสิทธิภาพ โปร่งใส และรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมมากขึ้น ทำให้ในอนาคตทุกคนจะสามารถเข้าถึงงานอาสาสมัครในระดับนานาชาติมากขึ้นครับ
เพราะการอาสา = ความรับผิดชอบร่วมกันของพวกเราทุกคน 🤝
นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของการพัฒนาระบบข้อมูลอาสาสมัครของไทยอย่างแท้จริง
เป้าหมายสำคัญหนึ่งของเราคือ การทำให้ผู้คนรู้จักกับงานอาสาสมัครมากขึ้น ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องของจำนวน การมีส่วนร่วม และข้อมูลพื้นฐาน (ทักษะ ความสนใจ พื้นที่ และประสบการณ์)
รวมถึงการสร้างฐานข้อมูลกลางที่รวบรวมผลงานจากภาคีเครือข่าย เพื่อขับเคลื่อนงานอาสาสมัครให้เกิด “คุณค่าทางสังคม” ได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
