10. A gentleman who leaves his family for politics and thinks politics will satisfy his unlimited needs and wants

Honourable Tong Akeen Ngor Governor of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State had witnessed the final march of Aweil Provincial League 2022 between Aweil East County and Aweil South County.

In the attendance during the match were Hon. Mayen Majookdit the National Minister of Humanitarian affairs and Disaster Management, State Advisors, Ministers, County Commissioners, senior Government officials and the general public.

In his remarks after the match, Hon. Governor Tong Akeen Ngor congratulated Aweil South County for winning the Provincial League Cup of 2022 and encouraged the competitor Aweil East County to work hard such that they can win Provincial League next year.

In addition, the Governor encouraged the people of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State to support the sport activities to promote peace, unity and coexistence among the communities in the State. Meanwhile, he promised that the State Government will always support the sports and particularly the football in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State to create the spirit of peace and unity among the Young people.

Hon. Governor Tong Akeen Ngor appreciated all the Counties' football teams which participated in the Provincial League 2022 organized by the State Ministry of Youth and Sports with the purpose of promoting peace and unity in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State in general.

The final March of Provincial League 2022 ended with the penalty kicks where Aweil South County won against Aweil East County 5:4 goals. Provincial League is interCounties football tournament in which all the Counties and Aweil Municipality football teams participated, it was organized by the State Ministry of Youth and Sports sponsored by the State Government with aim of promoting peace and unity in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State.

Join us in congratulating Nyakuma Peter Gatkuoth, who recently participated in a virtual panel discussion, arranged by Meridian International Center, for a select audience on Peacebuilding and Civic Engagement for Youth. She was one of only four panelists worldwide, and represented South Sudan with distinction.

Nyakuma is a founder and the Executive Director of "Together South Sudan (ToSS)," a non-profit organization that aims to bring together and reconcile the 64 tribes of South Sudan and to transform violence in communities in order for them to be peaceful and to unite through healing and reconciliation programs.

In May, Nyakuma received the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Impact Award for her work in trauma healing and reconciliation. Nyakuma is change agent working hard to improve conditions in South Sudan, with the aim to foster peace and goodwill among all South Sudanese. Congratulations, Nyakuma, and keep up the great work.
