History: SPLM fragmentation started from here. Whoever tells you that he is fighting for reform is not telling you the truth. SPLM was ready to work as a team and deliver the services they promised to people until the greed and the love of power consumed the minds of some senior members of the party to go against the will of the party and that of the people of South Sudan.
The SPLM national convention held from 14th to 16th December 2013 was meant to pass the basic documents of the party, the constitution and the manifesto. Members who rebelled against the government and the party had chances to reform the party through developing strong basic documents but they chose the wrong way. In this video, you will see the faces of those who planned the current mess our country is going through.
Despite president Kiir reiterating his commitment to maintain unity within the party and asking all members to cooperate and work together, this call was ignored. These comrades chose to pass bullets instead of guns. That's how the 15th December, 2013 war came about.
