Banat Power Initiative successfully participated in Morning in the City, a civic education radio talkshow hosted by Naomi Kiden on City FM 88.4, focusing on electoral rights, youth participation, civic engagement, and breaking barriers for youth participation in South Sudanโ€™s democratic transition.

The discussion brought together passionate youth advocates including Diko Janet, Pal Jok, and Santino Mabor, who shared powerful insights on the importance of informed participation, leadership, inclusion, and the role of young people in shaping a peaceful and democratic South Sudan.

The talkshow created a meaningful platform for open dialogue on the challenges young people face in civic and political spaces, while encouraging active engagement, awareness, and responsibility ahead of the 2026 elections.

Banat Power Initiative extends sincere appreciation to Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and the European Union for their valuable support toward promoting civic education, democratic participation, and youth engagement in South Sudan.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to City FM 88.4 and host Naomi Kiden for creating space for youth voices and constructive national conversations.

How are you staying informed for the 2026 elections?
