First Lady Mary Ayen Mayardit has dissolved the Board of Directors of the Concern for Women and Children Organization.

The move affects senior members including advisor Achan Agoth Akiec, who is currently in detention, and the group’s legal advisor, Madhal Aguer Guot.

Other board members relieved of their duties are Achol Cyer Rehan, Kom Kom Geng, Yel Luol Koor, Natalia Louis Lobong, Adiel Maker Manhom, Adut Madut Akec, and Athieng Luka Baak.

The list also includes Lual Ngeth Agany, Augustine Agany Bol, and Adior Deng Kiir.

The First Lady has not yet announced any replacements.
