A son of Abang was attacked by two sons of Malual in the Marol market.
This afternoon at 3:20 PM, Bher Mabut Bher from Abang was attacked by two men from the Malual community. One of them was identified as a son of Alier Them Deng Luol, a prominent chief in the Malual community. The boy is the younger brother of Chol Alier Them, commonly known as Monytoch, CEO of Monytoch Media.
The attacker, Riak Alier Them, is married to a lady from Abang Lual section, and the victim is also from Biar. This means that Alier Them Deng’s son attacked his own brother-in-law. The attack occurred near Mama Deborah’s building, close to Ajak Baba’s house in Marol Market, on the betting side where the young boy works.
The case has been reported to the office of the Commissioner, but the attackers have not yet been arrested. The youth of Abang are still waiting for the government to act, and it appears the Commissioner does not care.
