Bor County Commissioner Dissolves Committee Investigating 'Red Belt' Movement

Bor, Jonglei State – The Commissioner of Bor County, Honorable Samuel Ateny Pech Ariik, has announced the dissolution of the committee previously established to investigate the activities of the 'Red Belt' movement.

Commissioner Ateny stated that the responsibility for addressing this matter has now been transferred to the higher authority of the State Government and the National Security Service.

"The mandate to investigate and address the 'Red Belt' movement is now with the State Government and the National Security Service. We fully support their comprehensive efforts to ensure peace and security in Bor County," said Commissioner Pech.

The Commissioner's Office confirms that the transition of authority is effective immediately.
