Job description:

Key Tasks 1- General Accounting Functions
• Review existing accounting practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, financial reports and other financial statements to assess accuracy and ensure these reports conform to reporting and procedural standards
• Ensures proper and effective accounting procedure by researching and interpreting accounting policy regulations
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain files and records to document transactions
• The ideal candidate will prepare assets, liabilities and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing statement of financial position, profit or loss statement and other financial reports.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Key Tasks 2- Budgeting
• Analyze budgets and other financial information
• Monitor budget performance across the organization
• Design and implementation of ‘cost savings’
Key Tasks 3- Ensuring Compliance and Stakeholders Management
• Computes taxes and prepares tax returns, ensuring compliance with payments, reporting and other tax requirements
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all corresponding levels of an organization; sometimes also including executive and C-level etc.
