Over 1,500 APC supporters residing in the U.S. are being deported according to the deputy chairman of the party, Alhaji Foday Yansaneh. This shock came about as a result of Trump's newly immigration policies. The 1,500 victims are said to be undocumented immigrants who failed to go through legal processes before they migrated.

The chairman, upon expressing concerns in a conference attended by party members and journalists, regarding the situation, called on the party's authorities in the diaspora to meet and negotiate with the U.S. government in order to prevent their party supporters from imprisonment and possible deportation.
