Legacy BOI has officially proven that he is here to stay, moving past the drama and showing everyone that his talent is real. When the news first broke about the "Money Necessary" song, things looked messy. Sweeta Boi claimed the song was stolen, and it became a huge conversation that even reached the government and music producers for mediation. Many people thought this embarrassment would end Legacy Boi’s career before it even started, but he stayed quiet and let his work do the talking.

Instead of getting stuck in the back-and-forth, he dropped "Free Me," which has now cleared over 1 million views on TikTok. This massive success proves to the fans and the critics that he wasn't just lucky with one song; he actually knows how to make hits that the people love. Performing for the First Lady and staying on the charts shows that his focus is on the music and his hustle. He has successfully changed the story from a "stolen song" to being one of the hottest new artists in Sierra Leone. By hitting these big numbers and staying consistent, Legacy Boi has shown that no matter what people say, you can't stop a man who is ready to work. He’s no longer just a viral name; he’s a star who has earned his spot in the industry.

We want to thank IShowSpeed for his incredible journey. In just 28 days, he visited 20 African countries including Angola, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Liberia, and Ghana. He used his phone to show the world that Africa is full of joy, energy, and beautiful culture. He taught us that one person with a camera can market a continent better than a thousand speeches.
It is sad that Speed was right next door in Liberia but did not step foot in Sierra Leone. Our Ministry of Tourism should have done everything possible to bring him here. We do not have streamers in Sierra Leone yet, but that is the exact reason why we needed his platform. One video of our beaches or our food would have put us on the global map.
We have so much beauty to offer, but we cannot stay in the dark and expect to be found. Speed’s tour is a wake-up call that the world is changing. If we want Sierra Leone to grow, we must be proactive and invite the people the world is watching to see our Sweet Salone.

Should BORN 2 BLOG Side With Kao?

The question of whether BORN 2 BLOG should side with Kao has come up, especially after Drizilik’s recent interview. In situations like this, it is important to look at the role of a blogging platform. A blogger can share opinions, but once a platform openly takes sides, it risks losing credibility and turning genuine industry issues into unnecessary conflict.

A professional media platform is expected to create space for conversation, not add fuel to existing tension. Whether it is Kao, Drizilik or any other artist, the most responsible approach is to remain objective and allow the public to form their own views from verified information.

Regarding Drizilik’s comment that Kao’s songs are “uninspiring,” it is important to remember that music is personal. Everyone has the right to express how they feel about a sound or an artist. What Drizilik said reflects his individual experience, not a universal fact. The industry is built on different styles and different tastes, so it is natural for artists to hold their own opinions.

At the end of the day, both artists have contributed to Sierra Leone’s entertainment landscape in different ways. A blogger siding with one over the other does not strengthen the industry. Balanced reporting and respectful dialogue do.

Mr Eazi Reacts to Drizilik’s Unreleased Snippet

African star and businessman Mr Eazi recently commented on a snippet of Drizilik’s unreleased song, and his reaction says it all. After hearing the Krio-filled fusion track, Mr Eazi couldn’t help but ask:

“Which language be this?”

This simple comment shows just how far Drizilik is exposing Sierra Leone’s culture. His unique vibe and authentic Krio sound are reaching the ears of major African creatives so much that even Mr Eazi felt the energy instantly.

Drizilik is truly putting Sierra Leone’s culture on the map, one song at a time.
