The Noble Status of a Mother in Islam
In Islam, the role and status of a mother are greatly elevated, and her love, sacrifices, and efforts are acknowledged and rewarded by Allah (SWT). Both the Qur'an and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasize the importance of honoring and caring for one's mother.
The Command of Allah (SWT)
Allah (SWT) mentions the duty of kindness and respect towards parents, particularly the mother, in several verses of the Qur'an.
> "And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination."
(Surah Luqman 31:14)
This verse highlights the physical and emotional struggles a mother endures, from pregnancy to nursing and raising her child, and commands us to show gratitude to both our parents, especially the mother.
The Threefold Honor of the Mother
A companion once asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):
> "O Messenger of Allah, who among the people is most deserving of my good companionship?"
The Prophet replied, "Your mother."
The man asked, "Then who?"
The Prophet said, "Your mother."
The man asked again, "Then who?"
The Prophet said, "Your mother."
The man then asked, "Then who?"
The Prophet said, "Your father."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 5971; Sahih Muslim, 2548)
This hadith clearly illustrates the superiority of a mother’s status, as she is mentioned three times before the father due to her immense sacrifices and nurturing role.
Paradise Lies Beneath the Feet of Mothers
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said:
> "Paradise lies under the feet of your mother."
(Sunan An-Nasa’i, 3104)
This profound statement signifies that by serving, obeying, and respecting one’s mother, a person can attain Jannah (Paradise).
The Importance of Dua (Supplication) for Parents
Allah (SWT) teaches us to make dua for our parents:
> "My Lord
*IN THE NAME OF ALLAH/GOD, THE MOST BENEFICENT, THE MOST MERCIFUL*. 20 MUHARRAM 1444. 18-08-2022. THURSDAY.
*AN AYAH A DAY HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND ISLAM, INCREASES YOUR FAITH & BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO ALLAH*.
*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
48. Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with Him (in worship), but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He wills. And whosoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin.
*QURAN 5 vs 48*.
*HADITH*
Anas: (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that, Rasuulilah (Sallallaho Allaihe Wasalam) said, Allah will say to that person of the (Hell) fire who will receive the least punishment,
*If you had everything on the earth, would you give it as ransom to free yourself (I.e. save yourself from this Fire)*?
He will say. *Yes*, then Allah will say, *While you were in the backbone of Adam (May Allah be pleased with him), I asked you much less than this (I.e. not to worship others besides Me), but you insisted on worshiping others besides Me*.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, VOL. 4: HADITH NO 551*.
*Brothers & Sisters*. We learn from the above Hadith never to associate anyone in worship with Allah regardless of the situation we find ourselves.
Let us perform our daily Sallat in Jamat while always making Dua for all our deceased parents, relatives, friends etc.
*May Allah grant all our deceased family, friends & relatives peace, mercy & unity in their grave while granting us & them Al-Jannatul Firdaus*.
We have three bullet to short today that will hit your target.
1- The prophet Muhammad (SAW) said there is a specific time on the day of *JUMMAH* that for every Dua that you make it will be surely be accepted. So majority of the scholars predicted that it's after the *Asr Prayer* on *Friday*.
2- The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said that the *Day Of Yamul ARAFAT* is a day that Allah accept Dua more than any other time in the year *(nearest in meaning)*
3- Finally He (SAW) said that the Dua of the fasting Person Cannot Be Rejected Particularly When It's Time To Break The Fast.
So let make use of this three moments and get everything thing we wants.
Don't forget to ask Allah to forgive all your mistakes and save you from Hell Fire.

*Ayeshah (RTA)'s age at the time of her marriage*
Question: Many people are asking about the issue of Ayeshah (R)'s age at the time of her marriage. Please guide...
Answer: First of all I want you to note that this question has
nothing to do with the Holy Quran. Nor does it relate to the Sunnah of the Prophet. Rather, it is related to History.
As far as our history is concerned, every knowledgeable person must realize that this history has not been written by any contemporary historian.
There was no historian in the time of the Prophet or 80 to 90 years after him who could writte history.
This means that not a single historian has existed to record History for almost a hundred years.
The writing of our history began 100 years after the death of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) based on oral narration from people to people.
These stories has passed down through different generations.
When a contemporary historian writes history, he researches the whole matter carefully because it is the call of his historian mind.
People tell stories in their own way to give it a new direction.
These are the stories that have been passed down through different generations.
This formed the narration that at the time of marriage contract (nikah) of Ayeshah (R), she was only six and her marriage was consummated at the age of nine.
I would like to raise some questions regarding the age of Ayeshah (R), at the time of her marriage.
I will put this matter before you and you can see whether this narration can truly be acceptable or reasonable.
The way these people relate the whole issue, and if any of you wishes to investigate the matter further, the first book of history of Islam is Tabaqaat Ibn Sa'd. You can see this in the chapter on Ayesha.
Let me tell you the whole incident recorded in that book.
He was about 25 years old at the time of his marriage to Syeda Khadija (R), the first wife of the Holy Prophet. About Sayyedah Khadija it is said that she was a widowed woman
