Agape Way Ministries

Greetings from Bo, Sierra Leone, the Mansaray family and the Agape Way Ministries.
We completed the memorial ceremony for my late sister, Late Mrs. Mamie Mansaray Ngevao. The ceremony went well and lots of people came from the surrounding village to grace the occasion. I just returned to Bo with painful body due to various works in preparation for the ceremony. Francess, myself, and the children had to sleep on the floor to make place for the guests and other relatives from outside Ngandorhun (my village). At the end of the ceremony on Sunday, April 13th, 2025, we had to buy extra fuel to transport our guests and other relatives back to their villages. I thank God that we were able to go through it.
My late sister was second to me. I now have 4 sisters from the same mother and father. My father had seven wives with many other children. Our oldest ones have died. I am now the oldest and head of the family.

Greetings from Sierra Leone, Edward Mansaray family and the Agape Way Ministries, Sierra Leone Conference.
The Biennial Convention went very well. The Biennial Convention is a time of teachings, experience sharing, and planning for the future years. We were able to ordain four candidates as Reverends, seven as Pastors, eight as Exhorters, sixteen as Elders, five Deacons and ten Deaconesses. All these persons are from the seven various Agape Way Christian Fellowships in Bo, Kenema, Pujehun, Moyamba communities. We housed 105 delegates for five (5) days. On Sunday we performed two marriages at the same time. The whole program was very colorful.
We had some extra expenses for transportation to bring all the delegates from the various communities, feeding the participants, teaching materials and other related expenditures.
Attached is the banner the church made for Francess and I in honor of the convention. You will also see one of the big pots the women used to cook food for the delegates for five days on three stones and firewood.
On behalf of the Agape Way Ministries, I am delighted to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our donors, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance. Stay blessed as wait to hear from you.

Happy November to all:
Thank you so very much for the donations you have sent for the work in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Edward Mansaray has sent the following email and attachment to indicate how your donations are being used for the building efforts of the Agape Way Ministries through the ARK ministries. I am praying that you will have a blessed season of Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Yours for the Kingdom, Paula Hegle
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ:
May the peace and love of our Lord, Jesus Christ be with you and the rest of the families. Thank you very much for the efforts you are making in assisting in both the Spiritual and Physical activities of the Agape Way Ministries in Sierra Leone through the ARK Ministries. As a ministry, we really appreciate you. May God richly bless and keep you safe. May His light continue to shine on you as endeavor to participate in the activities of Agape Way Ministries in Sierra Leone.
I received the notification of the wired funds of $1,700 (£1,271). We were out of town visiting one of the fellowships in the Moyamba community. They held a harvest thanksgiving service to which I was to give a talk and introduce the newly transferred pastor in the fellowship at Ngendema. We returned to Bo on the 28th (Monday), 2024. The service was very successful as many people from the surrounding villages were invited to witness the occasion.
The funds will be distributed in the following categories:
1. The restricted $600 for the Jim Woodard Memorial School will be respected but we are spending more on the construction of JWM School simply because we want to get this building completed, maintain the welfare of the teachers, and provide the basic school learning materials that are not supplied by the ministry of education. We will then concentrate on the Donnita Lewis Memorial Junior Secondary School. We are spending almost 85% of the funds that come on the JWM School. The educational output of our pupils motivated us to start the Jim Woodard Memorial Junior Secondary School in Bo City. Please know that the Agape Way Ministries in Sierra Leone is recognized by the government of Sierra Leone under the Ministry of Social Welfare. All the schools operating under this ministry have been approved by the ministry of education to operate but the teachers have not yet been approved to be paid by the government. We are paying our teachers but most of the school learning materials are been provided by the ministry of education. We pray that some day our teachers will be approved and paid by the government of Sierra Leone. AWMSL has almost 90% decision making on the schools. Therefore, all Christian activities of the schools are not interfered into.
The breakdown of how the recently wired funds will be used is attached. The attachment is very important. Please review.
Thank you again for your sacrificial efforts.
Stay blessed.
Edward
