Do you have an idea for a research project that will explore innovative solutions to challenges in health and sustainability?

The new NNF-IAS Fellowship Programme on Health and Sustainability, which is a collaboration between the eight Institutes for Advanced Studies in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, invites talented, curiosity-driven researchers to apply for fellowships in an interdisciplinary and international setting.

In its first round, the programme offers five fully-funded two-year residential fellowships, and the first sub-theme is “Inequity in Health”.

The programme welcomes applications from researchers of any nationality and from all academic disciplines with research profiles within the thematic scope of the call, and at a career stage between two to ten years after completion of their PhD.

Deadline for applications: 1 October 2026 at 12.00 (noon) CEST.

This morning, the SCAS Fellows visit Linnaeus’ Hammarby, the summer home of Carl Linnaeus and his family.

The small estate, located 15 km south-east of Uppsala, was bought by Carl Linnaeus in 1758 and still reflects his private life as well as his scientific work.
