Urgent Appeal

In light of the tragic circumstances that El Fasher city is going through, the suffering of thousands of families displaced to Tawila in search of safety is intensifying, as they are facing severe shortages of food, shelter, and the basic essentials of life.

We, at CAFA Development Organization, launch this urgent appeal to support our people there, and we announce the start of our intervention through the El Fasher – Tawila Community Kitchen.

Sanitation Improvement Efforts – CAFA Organization

As part of its mission to improve sanitation and reduce the spread of communicable diseases, CAFA constructed and installed 80 improved communal latrines in Altabarat, Alshawal, and Goz Alsalam camps, White Nile State. Each latrine serves about 50 people, benefiting roughly 4,000 individuals, with integrated hand-washing stations to promote hygiene practices. The facilities were built according to Ministry of Health and UNICEF standards, ensuring safety, privacy, and gender sensitivity. This intervention supports CAFA’s goal of providing safe, cleanable, and accessible sanitation services to crisis-affected communities. CAFA remains dedicated to sustainable and inclusive WASH solutions.

جهود تحسين خدمات الإصحاح – منظمة كافا

ضمن رسالتها في تحسين خدمات الإصحاح والحد من انتشار الأمراض المعدية، نفذت منظمة كافا بناء وتركيب 80 مرحاضًا مجتمعيًا محسنًا في مناطق التبرات، الشوال، وقوز السلام بولاية النيل الأبيض. يخدم كل مرحاض حوالي 50 شخصًا، ليستفيد ما يقارب 4,000 فرد، مع توفير وحدات لغسل اليدين لتعزيز ممارسات النظافة. تم البناء وفقًا لمعايير وزارة الصحة واليونيسف، مع مراعاة الأمان، الخصوصية، وحساسية النوع الاجتماعي. يحقق هذا التدخل أحد أهداف كافا في توفير مرافق صحية آمنة، قابلة للتنظيف، وسهلة الوصول للمجتمعات المتأثرة. تواصل كافا التزامها بحلول WASH مستدامة وشاملة
