Sudan Vision, in collaboration with the MoH Nutrition Department – Kassala, celebrated World Breastfeeding Week in Aroma locality with the generous support of the World Food Programme (WFP). 🌍💙

We were honored by the participation of Sudan Vision team, MoH representatives, and UN agencies, NGOs, INGOs whose presence made this celebration more impactful. Together, we raise awareness on the importance of breastfeeding for the health and nutrition of mothers and children. 🌸👶

In partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and in collaboration with the Nutrition Department, Sudan Vision Organization (SUVO) is implementing life-saving nutrition interventions across Aroma, Elgirba, and North Delta localities.

This vital project focuses on the treatment of children and PLW around 45, 000 beneficiaries with Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM), capacity-building through training for nutrition and community workers, and the distribution of specialized nutritious food to those most in need.

Together, we are working to improve child health and build resilient communities.

Sudan Vision Organization successfully conducted a training on Vegetables and Fruits Drying Techniques in Kassala as part of our ongoing efforts to support vulnerable women in the region. 🍅🍆🍌

This vital training aimed to equip women with sustainable food preservation skills that not only reduce post-harvest losses but also open doors for income generation and economic resilience. 💪👩‍🌾

The training was generously funded by AISPO under the Women and Child Health Project, reinforcing the commitment to improve the livelihoods and nutritional well-being of women and families in Kassala.
