For a Network Engineer the most important part of starting a new network is choosing the appropriate networking devices that should operate and be able to carry out the requirements of the cooperation or entity it is serving.
Large enterprises that operate on a 24 hour radius require end devices that can endure long hours or even weeks without being turn off.
The basic networking devices are :-
1.Computer = For employees
2.Switch = For connecting end devices
3.Router = For Internet access and wan
4.Firewall = For security
5.Server = For hosting, DHCP ,Database, Mail etc
