Our recently published study in the special edition "Novel Approaches in Food Preservation and Their Impact on the Food System" looks at UV-C light and vacuum sealing effects on beef, seafood, and chicken. Our results found the lifespan of these foods was extended by 66% compared to other food preservation methods.
