Sahil Adeem's statement that " engineer is also a soldier of Allah."
This is a statement I have heard repeatedly from Sahil Adeem, but I never really understood why he kept saying it. To be honest, I never bothered to spend time on it either, because I myself consider an engineer to be nothing more than an "empty drum that only makes noise." However, that noise of the engineer has certainly produced some benefit.
In the Indian subcontinent, a polytheistic mindset was given the name of Islam, and the local culture was mixed with Islam to create a new HYBRID version of Islam. When we began our work and realized that breaking these temples of Somnath had become a necessity, otherwise this Hindu-worshipping, fearful, polytheistic mentality would continue to be passed on to our future generations in the name of Islam, then something unexpected happened...
What happened was that the attack came from a direction we had never anticipated. The clergy turned against us. The clergy opposing us was not itself the problem. The problem was that they started proving this cultural hybrid version through Islam itself.
One is wrapping nationalism in an Islamic cloak, another is determined to prove the rulers of nation-states as deputies of Allah. One is presenting slavery as perfectly Islamic, while another is trying to give Hindu-inspired cultural traditions a bath in Zamzam water. In the same way, every religious command is being distorted, and the effort is always the same: somehow prove it Islamic. Some are obsessed with chains of narration. Everyone has embraced some idol or another, and has dressed that idol in the covering of the Kaaba.
The importance of the engineer increases here because the engineer has also broken three or four of these idols of the clergy. Breaking these idols created noise, and the entire crowd of clerics became distracted by the engineer. Meanwhile, Allah directed Sahil Adeem and a few others toward the youth and enabled them to shape their thinking, and the distorted concepts of Islam became the "Center of Debate" within society.
Just think: if such a large number of these clerics had not turned their attention toward the engineer, then they would have remained focused on us with the same intensity. Being trapped among these ignorant people is like being trapped in a swamp, because these "Dule Shah's rats" neither possess independent thinking nor do they spare the minds of others from ruin. Managing two mad people is not difficult, but two hundred...
So, Alhamdulillah, by taking 195 of them onto his side, the engineer helped pave the way for the true commands of Allah to spread throughout society with the mentality they deserve, and helped create the high level of thinking required to understand them. Therefore, the engineer is indeed a soldier of Allah who, in one way or another, cleared the pebbles obstructing the path for others.
