Getting ready for summer! The club season in Russia opened in January 2025, in the spring and summer an expedition to Dagestan is planned, a traditional trip to the Volga in the Staritsa area, the fourth annual Land Rover Party IV rally for owners of British SUVs from Russia.
Two crews on the off-road vehicles LR Defender have won prizes at the first stage of the Russian Championship in trophy-raids in the TR-2 category!
From 16 to 19 April in the city Apsheronsk area, Krasnodar region, the first stage of the Russian Trophy-Raid Championship was held. Four LR Defender 90 cars participated in the TR-2 category.

🔸 LR 300tdi Borislav Vorobyov (Moscow) - Alexander Ptushkin (Bryansk)
🔸 LR TD5 Vladimir Timoshin (Bryansk region) - Roman Luchkin (Smolensk)
🔸 LR V8 Saldan Peter (Vladimir) - Saldan Vitaly (Vladimir)
In total, 14 crews from all over the country entered this category. After the hardest two days of competition, when the equipment and people were at the limit of their strength, there was a situation where two LR and one Toyota got to the top 3. The number of scored points did not allow any of the top three to go half-strength on the 3rd day.
The third day of competition was supposed to put everything in place. But it was necessary to go even faster and without mistakes, since the rivals did not allow to relax at all.
With support of numerous fans, with strong british spare parts, for the first time in many years, 2 LR Defenders made it to the awards stand.
The crew Timoshin - Luchkin won the trophy-raid, and Vorobyov - Ptushkin took 3rd place in the 1st stage of the Russian Trophy-Raid Championship.
There are still 2 difficult stages ahead in the Republic of Karelia and in the Murmansk region.

Два экипажа на внедорожниках LR Defender заняли призовые места на первом этапе Чемпионата России по трофи-рейдам в классе ТО-2!
С 16 по 19 апреля в окрестностях города Апшеронск Краснодарского края прошёл первый этап чемпионата России по Трофи-рейдам. В категории ТР-2 (наиболее подготовленные кузовные машины) участвовало 4 автомобиля LR Defender 90.
🔸LR 300tdi Симков Михаил (Калининград) - Иванов Сергей (Тверь)
🔸LR 300tdi Воробьев Борислав (Москва) - Птушкин Александр (Брянск)
🔸LR TD5 Тимошин Владимир (Брянская область) - Лучкин Роман (Смоленск)
🔸LR V8 Салдан Пётр (Владимир) - Салдан Виталий (Владимир)
Всего в данной категории было заявлено 14 экипажей со всей страны. После тяжелейших 2-х соревновательных дней, когда техника и люди были на пределе своей прочности сложилась ситуация при которой в тройке лидеров были 2 LR и одна Тойота. Количество набранных баллов не позволяло в 3-й день кому-либо из лидирующей тройки ехать в пол силы.
Третий соревновательный день должен был расставить все по своим местам. Но для этого необходимо было ехать ещё быстрее и без ошибок, так как соперники не давали расслабиться совсем.
На морально волевых, на поддержке многочисленных болельщиков, на крепких английских запчастях, впервые за многие годы 2 дефендера встали на подиум.
Экипаж Тимошин - Лучкин стали победителями, а Воробьев - Птушкин заняли 3-е место 1 этапа чемпионата России по Трофи-Рейдам.
Но впереди еще 2 непростых этапа в республике Карелия и в Мурманской области.
