QiGong is also a way of life. Much of it based on the ancient martial arts concept of Wude (the spirit of morality). Choosing this path must come from willingness to improve one's life. Wude is part of that change. Join us, to become energy!

Tired of feeling tired?
The biology of Qi Gong is quite complicated, working on different levels. But one of the most basic functions it has it's to give the brain a bigger dataset about what is happening in the body. Any decision will have a more beneficial effect if it based on more information, it is that simple.
For that purpose Qi Gong works very much with the Vagus Nerve. It's main function is to tell the brain how things stand in the organs, that is why it has so many ramifications.
One of the things we understand poorly about our insides in western culture is the illusion of stability. We imagine that things in our body are nailed down in place, while, in truth, they sort-of float, held together by fascia and many other discrete parts of our bodies.
Because things are moving around in there, each change in posture we do in our exercises prompts the brain to ask for a status report from the vagus nerve,. Again and again and again and again, instead of a couple of times a day, like we would normally do if we would not be engaging in any type of mind-body practice.
So, in short, Qi Gong is empirical exercise. It develops, enhances and regulates the body not exactly by "moving" our Qi, but by understanding it better and better with each exercise, may it be external (physical work) or internal (mediation).
