The lighted serpent (Looking towards the origins)

Situated in Mexic, Chichen Itza was one of the largest Mayan cities. There, you can find the Temple of Kukulkan, the feathered serpent deity. Around the spring and autumn equinoxes, during the sunny afternoons, the northwest corner of the pyramid projects a series of triangular shadows on the northwest ballustrade. Therefore, the illusion of the feathered serpent crawling down the pyramid is created. But here we can only see the lighted serpent called ”thunder”.

Șarpele de lumină (Privind spre origini)

Chichen Itza, din Mexic, a fost unul dintre cele mai mari orașe mayașe. Acolo se află Templul lui Kukulkan, zeitatea șarpelui înaripat. În timpul echinocțiilor, la prânz, colțul din nord-vest al piramidei proiectează o serie de umbre triunghiulare asupra balustradei din nord-vest. Astfel, se crează iluzia unui șarpe înaripat care se târâie pe piramidă. Dar aici putem observa doar șarpele de lumină sub formă de fulger.

The elder (Looking towards the origins)

Situated in Romania, the Sphinx or ”the elder” of the Calimani Mountains stands still in the so-called ”land of the giants”. Beside it there are the “12 Apostles”, as locals call them. On the 29th of June, the locals celebrate the 12 Apostles or ”the elders of Calimani”. The blue moon tries to remind us that these mountains were once the largest active volcanic complex of the Carpathian Mountains.

Moșul (Privind spre origini)

Situat în România, sfinxul sau ”Moșul” din Munții Călimani stă impunător în așa-zisul ținut al uriașilor. Alături de el sunt cei ”12 Apostoli”, așa cm sunt denumiți de localnici. Pe 29 iunie, localnicii sărbătoresc cei 12 Apostoli sau ”moșii din Călimani”. Luna albastră... o reminiscență a faptului că acești munți au fost cândva cel mai mare complex vulcanic activ din Munții Carpați.

The lunatics (Looking towards the origins)

The not to be ignored statues of Bada Valley, Indonesia, are here to be admired. Mysterious, but funny, these statues have been given different names by the locals: Palindo the entertainer, Mesinga, Maturu and so on. But what is not that funny is the sky. Is that a blood moon? Pretty close, isn’t it?

Să nu ignorăm statuile din Valea Bada, Indonezia, demne de admirație. Misterioase, dar simpatice, localnicii le-au numit în diverse feluri: Palindo bufonul, Mesinga, Maturu etc. Însă nu la fel de simpatic este și cerul. Este eclipsă de lună? Destul de aproape, nu?

Teluricul și celestul, două tărâmuri ce dau naștere unei lumi imaginare care ne distrage atenția de la misterele de pe pământ: Sfinxul din Egipt și faimoasele piramide. Se afirmă că ar fi mai vechi decât piramidele, nu-i așa? Aruncă o privire nu numai la el, dar și la cer, pentru că nicăieri nu vei mai vedea aurora boreală deasupra deșertului din Giza.

The stone circle (Looking towards the origins)

Many mysteries surround these monoliths that create this impressive prehistoric monument for which we can only suppose its purpose. Located in England, these rock blocks have around 13 feet high, seven feet wide and around 25 tons weight. Is it a precise astronomical calendar, a sacred temple, a subtle energy amplifier for the planet, a graveyard or something else? Who built it, why, and how? Until we get our answers, let’s admire its beauty under the light of the night sky.

Cercul de piatră (Privind spre origini)

Multe mistere înconjoară monoliții de piatră care formează acest monument preistoric al cărui scop îl putem doar presupune. Situat în Anglia, aceste blocuri de piatră au cca. 4 m înălțime, 2 m lățime și aproape 25 tone. Este un calendar astronomic precis, un templu sacru, un amplificator energetic din trecut, un cimitir sau altceva? Cine l-a construit, de ce și cum? Până vom obține răspunsurile, vă invit să-i admirăm frumusețea sub lumina cerului înstelat.

The eclipse of knowledge (Looking towards the origins)

The Easter Island and some of its giant statues (Ahu Tongariki) depict how little we know about the past of our planet, or at least how we have forgotten about it. Wandering through our imagination the statues are like mankind that needs enlightenment. But for the time being the light is blocked by superior forces we cannot control. Are we able to see through the eye of knowledge or are we limited to a solar eclipse?

Eclipsa cunoașterii (Privind spre origini)

Statuile (Ahu Tongariki) din Insula Paștelui demonstrează cât de puțin cunoaștem trecutul planetei noastre sau, cel puțin, cât ne mai amintim. Dând frâu liber imaginației, statuile sunt precum omenirea care are nevoie de luminare. Dar în momentul de față, ”lumina” este blocată de forțe superioare nouă, pe care nu le putem controla. Suntem capabili să vedem prin ”ochiul” cunoașterii sau ne limităm la o eclipsă de soare?
