How do you work with a heritage textile without losing its essence — and still make it relevant today?
When I created the Arc Pants, I was thinking about that exact line — how a textile, like this one from Arad County, woven over sixty years ago in wool on cotton warp, can move into the present without losing itself, but also without staying fixed in its original context.
The answer came through form.
A rounded, urban silhouette. Volume that feels natural in motion. A piece that doesn’t explain where it comes from, but carries it quietly, through how it sits, how it moves, how it’s worn from morning into evening, across the city.
Finding that precise point where the past is still intact, and the present feels entirely its own.
