This week, we inaugurated the new in-flight catering facility of Tamam, part of the EL AL Group - one of the most advanced facilities in the world and the largest of its kind in kosher airline catering.

The new facility, nearly twice the size of the previous one, will enable the production of up to approximately 50,000 meals per day, almost double the previous production capacity.

We continue to invest in enhancing the travel experience, with the understanding that every detail is part of the overall journey. The new facility will allow us to expand the variety of meals served onboard, further improve product quality, and elevate the culinary standard for EL AL passengers.

The transition to full operations at the new facility will take place gradually over the coming months.

Behind every meal served onboard are dedicated people, advanced technologies, and careful attention to the smallest details - all to continue providing a thoughtful and high-quality service experience at 30,000 feet.

After more than a decade, we are returning to South America and launching a non-stop flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

We will operate two weekly flights using our new and advanced Dreamliner aircraft, featuring three classes of service - Economy, Premium, and Business. Flight duration is expected to be approximately 16.5 hours outbound from Israel and 15.5 hours on the return. Ticket sales for this route are expected to open during the month of May.

Through our codeshare partner Aerolíneas Argentinas, as well as additional partnerships, we will offer onward flights to gateways across the continent from Buenos Aires, alongside connections to other destinations in South America via a variety of European gateways.

This is a significant step in strengthening the connection between Israel and South America, particularly with the Jewish community in Argentina, which is the fifth largest in the world and currently the largest without direct flights to Israel.

We are publishing a special fare list for the recovery flights we are operating to Israel from more than 20 gateways, after completing the rebooking of most of our customers whose flights were canceled (approximately 38,000 passengers) from the 22 designated gateways.

The fare list was set as part of our commitment to bring Israelis home while ensuring that the fares remain the lowest recovery flight fares in Israel in the coming period. Each gateway will be sold at a single flat fare for all available seats on the aircraft. Full pricing details are available on our website, and tickets are now open for purchase on our website and through travel agents. Due to the high demand, sales are being opened gradually.

Examples of fares for flights to Tel Aviv:

Larnaca–Tel Aviv for 99 USD
Athens–Tel Aviv for 149 USD
Rome–Tel Aviv for 199 USD
Paris–Tel Aviv for 299 USD
Bangkok–Tel Aviv for 599 USD
New York–Tel Aviv for 699 USD

Please note that sales are opening gradually, in line with the priority given to rebooking our customers whose flights were canceled.

Additionally, we will add recovery flights from Tokyo, bringing the total number of recovery flight gateways we operate to 23.
