The American Dream 🇺🇸
Every journey begins with a moment of arrival, but what defines it is what you choose to build next…
For Oana A. Tucker, CMP, Founder of ONOR Foundation, coming to the United States meant stepping into a place where possibility felt real, and where new beginnings are not only allowed, but encouraged. Arriving without speaking English, she carried the values of her Romanian roots while embracing the openness, opportunity, and promise of her American journey.
That experience became something greater than personal success ... it became purpose.
Because when opportunity is given, it creates responsibility. From that belief, ONOR Foundation was born: to ensure that young people – no matter where they come from - have access to education, trusted mentors, emotional support, and opportunities that help them feel seen, valued, and capable of building their future.
The American Dream is not what you take.
It’s what you build.
It’s what you pass forward.
It’s what you turn into an opportunity for others.
This is how it lives on.

250 Years of Innovation. Courage. Opportunity. 🇺🇸
This year, we celebrate 250 years of the American story - a story shaped by dreamers, builders, innovators, and everyday people who believed that the future is ours to build.
America’s greatest strength has never been found in its past alone, but in the generations willing to imagine what comes next. Every act of service, every bold idea, every new beginning adds another chapter to our shared story.
At ONOR Foundation, we believe education opens doors, leadership inspires change, and communities grow stronger when people invest in one another. As we honor this milestone, we also look ahead - to the young leaders who will shape the next 250 years with courage, compassion, and purpose.
Happy 250th Anniversary, America. Here’s to the next chapter … together.

History is written by those who had the courage to begin before they felt ready.
The future belongs to those who are willing to learn, adapt, persevere, and keep showing up, especially when the outcome is uncertain.
Every decision you make today is a vote for the person you’ll become tomorrow.
Be Determined.
Be Courageous.
Be Unstoppable.

When the world gathers, extraordinary things happen.
Every cheer in the stadium, every flag waving in the crowd, and every shared celebration reminds us that sport has the power to unite people beyond borders and languages.
As anticipation builds across every continent, Host City Director Brandy Thigpen (Maureen Thig) is helping shape an experience that extends far beyond the matches. Her leadership reflects the dedication, collaboration, and vision required to welcome the world to Los Angeles and create unforgettable moments for athletes, fans, and future generations.
In bringing together people from every corner of the globe, the FIFA World Cup reminds us that our greatest victories are not only measured on the field, but in the connections we build and the unity we inspire.

Meet the Creative Team Behind ONOR: Part V
Some people build careers. Candy Hansen Gage (Candy Hansen Gage) built people.
As a global trade strategist, she led the Fresno Center for International Trade Development, managing more than $20 million in grants and international programs, the kind of resume that could speak for itself. But ask Candy what she’s most proud of, and she won’t mention the numbers. She’ll mention the hundreds for interns and students she’s mentored, many now building global careers of their own.
For Candy, philanthropy has never been a separate chapter from her career; it’s been woven through all of it. Across the Central Valley, she’s spent decades showing up for young people, believing that real change doesn’t come from writing a check from a distance. It comes from sitting across the table, sharing what you know, and opening doors most people never get the chance to walk through.
At ONOR, Candy continues that work championing education, leadership, and opportunity for the next generation, one student at a time.
This is what it looks like to lead with purpose. This is what it looks like to be unstoppable, together.
