Staggering numbers!!

How did we determine that over 1.5 million patent documents contain technologies? We used AI, of course!

The ’s Office of the Chief Economist just published an article in the Journal of Technology Transfer highlighting the machine learning approach we used on the recently released Artificial Intelligence Patent Dataset (AIPD), which performed better than other current methods. The AIPD identified 1,517,174 of 13.2 million USPTO patents and published patent applications contain AI technologies such as natural language processing and AI hardware.
